I’m having trouble starting vanilla valheim servers. I tried updating templates, reinstalling Amp, and spinning up new servers, and using pre-existing worlds instead of new ones. They won’t start. Usually I run these in containers, but I did also try without a container.
Looking at the log files I’m seeing a lot of null object references. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hey everyone! I’m trading any of the games listed below for some steam keys, any offers are welcome, I’m very open to anything you have to offer and hopefully we both find something we like! Fyi, I am in NA (US) so just keep in mind any region locks. This is far from the creepiest story you will read, but it is 100% true.
Every day after I drop my kids off at school I do active imagination exercises while I take a walk around my neighborhood sending nice vibes to all the people I cross paths with. On one particular day recently, I made eye contact with a young man who’s face just dramatically brightened when he saw mine. I didn’t think much of this exchange, because this actually happens to me a lot when I do this practice.
But the next day, I saw him standing at the entrance of a small forested loop that I usually walk. I entered the loop at the furthest point from him, but I could tell he’d not just seen me, but really noticed me. I am an unusually small woman, (roughly the size of a large child), but as I evaluated the situation, I decided that I really wasn’t in any danger from this stranger, even if he had the worst intentions (which seemed unlikely) and I decided to just take it slow so he’d be gone by the time I reached the end of the loop (where he’d been standing next to a bright yellow bag and a few other objects that I couldn’t make out). I walked slowly along the path, listening to the meditation through my headphones, which guided me to invite my subconscious to bring forth a symbolic image of the mother archetype… except instead of an image firming in my mind, the woods around me actually became the embodiment of The Mother and for a moment, I entered a slightly liminal space that would be difficult to convey through words. Perhaps a bit foolishly, I sat on a bench and closed my eyes.
“Testing. Testing.”
The sun was in my eyes when I opened them, so I couldn’t see his face, but I knew the speaker could be only one person. I removed my headphones and tried to pull myself from the liminal space I’d been floating in. Something about the world still felt off.
“I knew there was a witch in these woods.”
I shrugged. What could I say?
He asked if I knew where he came from.
I said I’m sorry, I don’t know you. I don’t know where you’re from.
He said, “I’m some kind of science experiment.”
I asked if he wanted to have a seat and tell me about it.
He sat next to me, oddly frightened by the interaction that he himself had initiated. I’m not sure what he’d been expecting. He kept saying “this is witchcraft.”
He asked me to look into his eyes.
Not a problem.
“This is witchcraft.
He asked me if he was going to have to go back inside a pot. I said no, I’m sorry that happened to you, it shouldn’t have. You don’t ever have to go inside of a pot again.
He was in utter disbelief that I “know about the pot,” but I was just responding to the emotional resonancy of his words, which was surprisingly coherant.
For some reason, I asked if he would like a hug. He looked terrified. He said maybe a finger poke. I held out my hand, which he touched hesitantly, as if he was unsure what might happen if he made contact with me. He touched a temporary tattoo that my daughter had placed between my thumb and index finger, and seemed to think this was indeed confirmation that I am a witch. I told him that I am whatever you say I am.
He said he always knew there was…

I disclosed a peice of local history that I think about often, which is that this land was uninhabited when Europeans arrived, because it was rumoured to be haunted by a nation of indiginous people who were destroyed for being “quarrelsome” to their neighbors. Scouts and hunters had been known to disappear if they entered the supposedly haunted territory.
At this point, I had engaged with a strange man in the woods as much as I comfortably could, and told him that I had to be going because I had a date with an owl (there is an owl on another forest loop across the street and this is who I come to the park to see.)
As I walked out, I saw that the bright yellow bag he’d been standing next to was a bag of Lays potato chips and next to that was a sketchbook.
I crossed the street and headed for the owl, when I heard his voice behind me say, “left. Go left.”
I went right, because that’s the way to the owl’s nest. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a sheet of paper had been left in a tree, and I knew it must have come from his sketchbook. I already had a sense that I was in too deep, so I just kept walking. The owl wasn’t out, so I took a detoured route home, checking over my shoulder from time to time because I live with small children, so I can’t afford to have anything unusual follow me home.
The next day I was hesitant to return for my usual walk, given that it was a drizzly day meaning that the park would be sparsly populated, and if I encountered this stranger for a third time, it would be under more isolated circumstances. And yet, I had to see what note he’d left in the tree. I wasn’t expecting to see the second note.
